Scope
This notice explains how DeDriver processes personal data from website visitors, job applicants, drivers, business contacts and prospective clients. -
Data we process
We may process your name, contact details, country of residence, CV or résumé, employment history, professional qualifications, driving-licence categories, Code 95 status, availability, job preferences, application communications and interview notes. We also process technical data required to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, device and browser information. Please do not submit special-category data unless it is specifically requested and legally necessary. -
Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to answer enquiries, assess applications, match candidates with suitable employers, arrange interviews and support recruitment or placement processes. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests in recruitment, business communication and website security, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where we request consent. -
Recipients
Personal data may be shared with suitable prospective employers when this is necessary for the recruitment process and you have been informed. We may also use hosting, website, email and other service providers acting under data-processing agreements. Data is disclosed to public authorities only where legally required. -
International transfers
If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, DeDriver will use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, where required. -
Retention
Unsuccessful application data is normally deleted no later than six months after the recruitment process ends, unless a longer period is legally required or you consent to inclusion in our candidate pool. Candidate-pool data is retained for up to 12 months unless consent is withdrawn earlier. Contractual, tax and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods. -
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact robert@dedriver.eu to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), www.ldi.nrw.de. -
Website and cookies
The website may use technically necessary cookies and comparable technologies required for security and operation. Optional analytics or marketing technologies will be used only where legally permitted and, where required, after consent. -
Updates
We may update this notice when our processing activities or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
