What the work is really like

You will transport food and beverages on national routes throughout Germany. Many tours run through or around Minden and Groß Ippener, although assignments can change.

Depending on the tour, you may load or unload the truck yourself with a pump truck / pallet truck. This is not a job where the driver only opens the doors and waits. You must be comfortable with some physical work when required.

Salary and working conditions

The salary is approximately €3,200 net for a full working month. The structure is approximately €2,900 gross salary plus allowances, night-shift bonuses and other applicable payments.

Actual net pay depends on the driver's tax situation and working schedule. Salary figures come from the current vacancy brief and are not an individual payroll guarantee.

Drivers normally return to the transport base at least once every two weeks. Depending on the route, they may also return during the working week.

Facilities at the transport base

  • Showering / washing facilities
  • Cooking facilities
  • Basic daily facilities during the working rotation

These are base facilities. The vacancy brief does not state that permanent accommodation is provided.

Driver profile and document check

A valid CE driving licence and professional truck-driving experience are required. Reefer or food-transport experience is an advantage.

We are looking for drivers who are comfortable with national German routes, occasional loading and unloading, independent work and staying on tour for several days when required.

Before presenting a driver to the employer, DeDriver checks the driving licence, Code 95 / FQN, tachograph card, experience, documents and the exact work or visa route. Documents must be complete and verifiable.

Can non-EU truck drivers apply?

Non-EU drivers can apply, but eligibility depends on nationality, licence, Code 95 / FQN, tachograph card, experience, current residence and work status, and the available visa or employer-change route.

An application does not guarantee a job, work authorization or visa. Employer and authority decisions are required.
